Host
We’re looking for a responsible and friendly person to join our team as a Host!
We are looking for one or two folks to work from 2-5 days per week. Weekends are typically required. Previous retail or restaurant experience is required.
Knowledge of, or interest in British food, British culture, and teas is a big plus!
As a host, you will warmly greet customers, take reservations accurately, manage our reservation book efficiently, and thank customers sincerely. You’ll interact with our service staff, handle all phone calls, and do your part to ensure the dining room runs as smoothly as possible. You’ll process take-away orders, and play the very important role of managing our reservation book. We need someone with a “can-do” positive attitude, who will take pride in keeping our reservation book filled efficiently, and truly enjoy helping our guests.

For the right person, we would consider a supervisory position as well. There is room to grow with us!

Full Time OR Part Time Bus Person
Daytime Hours, Great Culture, and Good Pay!
We are looking for a Bus Person to assist our Front of House Team.
You will help bus and re-set tables in the dining room, bring bus tubs up and down a flight of stairs, put away clean dishes, perform side work or cleaning tasks as necessary, and in general lend a hand however it’s needed in this critical department during our busiest times.
Previous restaurant experience is a plus. Or, if you are hard working and bring the right attitude, we can train you! Must have a sense of hustle, be very neat and organized, and take pride in what you do.
We have some flexibility with hours and days. Pay is a base plus tips.
Retail Associate
A Taste of Britain is hiring a retail sales associate for our British Boutique in the Eagle Village Shops in Wayne, PA.
We are looking for a responsible, friendly, sales-oriented person who has a passion for helping guests! Help us build our brand as the area’s premier British market. We offer an extensive selection of British imported groceries, over 40 loose leaf teas, China, and beautiful gift items from British brands. Knowledge of or interest in tea and/or British lifestyle is a huge plus! (British ex-pats are also very welcome!!)
We offer a lovely environment, and in return we want people with a great work ethic, fantastic attention to detail, and a problem-solving attitude. If you want a job where you can take a sense of pride and ownership in what you do every day, this could be a great fit for you!
Some crossover training will be required to assist in our Tea Room hosting responsibilities, and you’ll handle takeout lunch orders and help with catering pickups. You will also be involved in retail fulfillment, such as helping unpack boxes, stickering products, stocking shelves, etc.
